Double bedroom in modern 2 bed 2 bath flat

Hi!

I’m advertising one room in a bright and modern flat in Stockwell, Lambeth, as I’m sadly moving out.

You’ll be living with the lovely Ed, a 32-year-old professional working as a civil servant in Westminster. Outside of work, Ed enjoys the usual good stuff — heading to the pub, going to the gym, trying out new restaurants, or a chilled evening in our beautiful flat. He’s sociable and friendly, but also has his own routine and things going on.

The flat is around 10 years old and is located just a very short walk from Stockwell station, with both Northern and Victoria line services. It’s also well connected to Kennington, Brixton, Clapham and Stockwell, and about a 15–20 minute cycle to Westminster. Apart from the bedroom for rent, the rest of the flat is fully furnished and includes a washer, dishwasher (can’t live without one now!), fridge and freezer, oven, microwave, and plenty of cupboard space in the kitchen. Another massive bonus — it’s right above Lidl!

The room itself comes unfurnished but is generously sized, with space for a king bed, wardrobe, desk and drawers. I’ll be selling most of my furniture (except my bed) at a cheap price if you fancy saving me the hassle of Marketplace ☺️

The room comes with its own private bathroom across the hallway, as Ed’s room has an en-suite (shown in the pictures).

We’re ideally looking for a housemate who’s tidy and clean but laid-back, with their own life and routine, and who’s also open to hanging out now and then and being more of a friend than just someone you live with.
