*** Location ***

We have a spacious single bedroom (4.26m x 2.05m) that has become available from 1st October in New Garden Quarter just a 10 minute walk away from Stratford Station, Westfield, Stratford City Shopping Centre, and Stratford international.

We live adjacent to East Village/Olympic Village and are no more than 10/15 minutes way from all of the local supermarkets.

There are great transport links for commuters (Elizabeth Line, Central, Jubilee, DLR and London Overground) and plenty of open spaces and parks nearby as well as the shared garden for residents. Travel is 30 minutes or less to Liverpool St, Bank, St Pauls, London Bridge, King’s Cross and Canary Wharf - either by train or bike.

*** Flatmates ***

The flat will be shared with two professionals, myself and Tania. We’re quite easy going, tidy and social. Between us our interests include music, movies, photography, games, dancing, cooking and travelling.

We work 9-5, Monday to Friday, and are free to chill out in the evenings and weekends. We are also very respectful of privacy. I work in Tech sales and Tania is in pharmaceutical sales. We are looking for a flatmate with a similar schedule.

*** The Flat ***

The room comes furnished with a single bed and bedside table so you can furnish and decorate the space as you want. The bathroom is shared with one other (myself) and comes with a bath, shower, toilet, rack and enough storage for two people. The room is quite spacious and there is a large floor-to-ceiling window for lots of natural light during the day.

The shared living room/kitchen is large and a great place to hang out. My flatmate, Tania, and I can be found watching movies, playing games or listening to music in the main room and we'd be happy for you to join.

There are balconies on either side, one balcony featuring outdoor furniture for relaxing, outdoor meals or coffee. The kitchen features various appliances including an espresso machine, blender, NutriBullet, stand mixer/electric whisk as well as shared cookware. All cookware, appliances and plateware are of high quality and communal - so need to worry about buying your own! We are looking for someone who doesn’t bring kitchen equipment with them in order to keep it manageable, however if you have something important please feel free to ask. We also have a washer/dryer, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, microwave and additional mini fridge.

Each room and bathroom has their own independent underfloor heating control, so set the temperature as you wish without worrying about us. The flat is well insulated anyway so we rarely feel the need to.

We keep the flat clean and tidy and trust each other to be respectful of the flat's condition. We aren't militant about chores and rotas as we want to live in a relaxed and friendly environment however we expect everyone to do their fair share of cleaning etc.

There is also an onsite concierge that manages the complex, who can accept deliveries on our behalf, and can assist with any local queries.

*** Rent ***

£850 + Bills and Council Tax


Bill payments and splits are automatically managed through Monzo shared tabs.
Security deposit is £875. Extremely fast and reliable 900mb broadband in the flat too which is more than enough for all of the current tenants and has been reliable whilst we have been working from home.
