Hi there! Got a spare bedroom+bathroom (private bathroom, just next to the bedroom) and I am looking for a like-minded flatmate to share this spacious 2-bedroom flat in Stratford, East London with me.

I have been renting this flat for 3+ months and everything has been sorted, so it’s available anytime. It’s a furnished flat and I don't mind to share with you the kitchenware and home electronics that I purchased if you don't have your own (e. g. kitchenware, vacuum cleaner, iron, etc.). So basically you just need to move in with your luggage and belongings (and of course you can bring and use whatever you have), and then you can start to live here comfortably and call this place your home ;)

Water charge already included. No gas bill. Other bills (Electricity/Council tax [Band D]/TV Licence/Broadband) to be equally split between you and me. I estimated the bills would cost about 150-200 quid per person per month in total, depending on actual usage.

An ideal flatmate would be a working professional/student who is friendly, clean and tidy, open-minded and sociable. It would be great if we can become friends, share the communal space together, chat and have fun or even hang out to explore London sometimes, but it’s equally important that we respect each other's privacy and let others have their me-time.

Smoking is NOT allowed in the property and although I like pets, NO pets are allowed in the development.

<About myself>
Born and raised in Hong Kong. Moved to London last year. Speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Clean, tidy and friendly. Enjoy wandering around the city with my bike and camera, doing regular exercises (swimming, jogging, cycling), going to museums, backpacking to exotic places and exploring cultures and people in other sides of the world, watching tv drama/films and listening to music in my free time, having deep conversation with my friends to get inspired, and last but not least, learning new things!

<About the flat>
- Furnished. Bright. Spacious
- 6th floor with lifts; 2 sizeable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a spacious, open-plan kitchen and living room
- a large balcony with a view over the neighbourhood where you can store a bike, do yoga, have a tea, or just get some fresh air
- Kitchen equipped with fridge and freezer, induction hob, washing machine (brand-new) , dishwasher, oven, toaster, rice cooker, microwave oven, kettle
- Plus: I got a projector in the living room with access to Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Curzon Home Cinema, Tennis TV, BBC iPlayer, ITV etc. So you can enjoy a movie/drama night here inside the flat, or just watch the news.
- Plan to get some more plants and put them in the living room/balcony to make it greener and healthier. As I'm kind of a tech enthusiast, I've added some gadgets (e. g. Echo Dots with Alexa) to make the home a little bit smarter, but not too smart to make people feel invasive.
- Would love to discuss with flatmate on how to make the flat a nicer place to live in;)

- 10 min walking distance to Stratford Station (Zone 2/3), with the newly opened Elizabeth Line, Central, Jubilee, DLR, Overground and National Rail ; From the station: 8min to Liverpool Street, 10min to Canary Wharf, 20min to Tottenham Court Road
- Cycling Options: ride to Central London via Cycle Superhighway 2 (CS2) or a more scenic route via the towpath next to Regent’s Canal and Victoria Park

The room will be available from 12th of July the earliest, and I expect the new flatmate to move in no later than early August. My current tenancy agreement with the landlord is till the end of March 2023. A lodger agreement will be signed between you and me and will be kept in the estate agent appointed by the landlord.
