Double room in East Village, Stratford

Hi!

We are looking for a female flatmate to join us in a modern East Village flatshare!
I have lived here for 4 years and really loved it, but will be moving in with my partner and therefore looking for someone to replace me. You will be living with two flatmates:

Sudiksha: 27 y. o. professional working in Strategy/ Business Consulting. I usually go to the office 2 days per week and wfh the rest of the time. I moved to London when I was 14! I enjoy being active esp. swimming, hiking (mostly socially so we can talk the pain away), cooking and anything creative! I am tidy and live a healthy lifestyle, and I like balancing having my own space as well as hanging out :D

Shanyce: 26 y. o professional who works in social impact at a Consulting firm. I’m usually in the office 3 days a week and do 2 days wfh. I’m originally from Bermuda but moved to London in 2017 for university. I have a lot of hobbies including running, gym (currently training for a hyrox and did a marathon earlier this year!) knitting/crocheting and playing in an orchestra which means I’m often running around a lot during the week/on weekends but when I am home I love a chat over dinner, but also value by own space. I’m also very clean and tidy.

About the room: The room is a small double bedroom and has a queen size bed, and a wardrobe (There is currently a desk and ladder shelf but these will not be included in the room). You will be sharing the bathroom with Shanyce!

There is a shared open plan living room and kitchen area with a decent size balcony. We usually get a cleaner in every fortnight. Bills and council tax are all shared and come to roughly £150 - 200pm. The deposit to be paid upfront is £1000 (the ad doesn't let us enter £1000 so we have put £980).

The flat:
Located in New Garden Quarter - a living space 10 mins walk from Stratford & Stratford International with great transport links (Elizabeth line, DLR, Overground). You can get to King's X in 7 minutes! Safe area with a concierge and free gym. Built for the 2012 Olympics, the flat is spacious and modern , with premium appliances and high quality furnishing. The shared space is a large, open plan kitchen/dining/living room, furnished with sofas, dining table, washer/dryer, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, and an array of kitchen appliances. We have a really large hallway and the living room plan is lovely with access to a balcony. Several supermarkets and shops are all within a short walking distance (including Westfield).

We're pretty chill people and up for trying new things! We see our home as a space to relax and would like our potential flatmate to be the same (i. e., this is not a party flat)
We're looking for someone respectful, tidy and with good energy :))

Unfortunately no students please due to landlord's request
Minimum contract length 1 year (10 months + 2 month break clause)
