A large, bright & airy double room in a renovated house located in Maryland Stratford. Only 5 minutes walk to Maryland Station on the Elizabeth Line (Liverpool St in 8 minutes & Tottenham Court Road in 15) & 10 minutes from Stratford Station (central, overground & DLR lines)
The house itself is located on a quiet residential street & is a stones throw from a large Morrisons. There's also plenty of takeaway & delivery options in & around Stratford - I'm very well placed to give you all the recs.
I've been happily living here for two years & have so far seen no reason to move out. My current flatmate who I have lived with for the past 2 years has decided to move on to pastures new, so I’m on the hunt for someone new to join me.
The house has a large open planned kitchen & dining space, complete with a large dining room table (perfect for dinner parties), dishwasher & all the usual appliances. The kitchen/dining room has bifold doors that fully open up onto a medium sized garden/patio area, giving the house a very alfresco vibe during summer.
There's also a lounge area with a sofa, plus a wall mounted TV. There's also a bathroom downstairs complete with bath & shower. Upstairs are two decent sized rooms. The one being advertised is the larger of the two & is street facing, meaning it gets all the natural light during the day. There's also a large attic for storage & plenty of other storage areas in & around the house.
I myself head up the marketing for a well-known restaurant group in London & usually work 9-5 in the office or around London. I enjoy living with people who are up for a catch-up at the end of the day (over a glass of wine), enjoy eating out, but at the same time, are also happy simply watching films & TV. I’m a chilled & laid-back individual & very good at knowing when people need their space.
The rent is £1125 per calendar month payable on the last day of each month.
The room will be available from November 22nd 2024. The deposit would be due 10 days before moving in.
The additional bills include Council Tax Band B (£65), Water (£20), Gas & electric (£30-50) Internet (£15) & TV license (£6), which are payable to me on the 1st of each month.
The landlord (who happens to be a very lovely man - nothin is ever an issue) would require a reference from your place of work & a copy of your driving license/passport/ID.
