Double room in spacious 2-bed house in Maryland

Looking for someone to replace my friend who's moving out early November. I've been living here for 2 years with my 2 cats, renting directly from a friend of a friend who owns the house.

ABOUT THE HOUSE
A spacious ground floor 2-story house in Maryland, Stratford. Ground floor entrance (levelled, key, ring cam doorbell), hallway with toilet and storage space. Spacious new kitchen with dishwasher, huge fridge and freezer, oven, stove and lots of storage space. Lounge with L-shaped sofa(bed), big TV, record player, piano, dining table, and access to the sunny private garden incl. loungeset and shed. Upstairs: 2 double bedrooms, 1 small 'office'/music studio/storage room, and bathroom with walk-in rainshower and Japanese toilet. Rent is £900,- each, INCLUDING(!) bills :) Bikes can be stored in front of the house, and there’s a parking permit.

ABOUT THE ROOM
Double room with kingsize bed, huge wardrobe with mirrors, chest of drawers and curtains. New laminate floor, and Philips hue connection + dimmer.


ABOUT THE AREA
I’m gonna be honest - Maryland is not the buzziest/sexiest area. However, you get a big house with garden in return for relatively low rent. The house is on a dead-end road so it’s super nice and quiet, there’s no traffic. Tesco Express + affordable fruit-vegetable shop are a 5-min walk, a big Morrisons a 10-minute walk. No cute oat latte cafes available in the direct area, but Leyton(stone), Forest Gate, and Stratford East Village have plenty and are all a 20-min walk or 7-min bikeride. I love strolling around Olympic Park or Wanstead Flats. There’s plenty of gyms (Better, Anytime Fitness) etc in the area.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Big perk: we’re very well connected! Maryland (Elizabeth Line): 10-min walk/2-min bikeride, Stratford (Jubilee, Central Line, Overground) 15 mins walk/7-min bikeride), bus 69 + 257 5-min walk, Wanstead Park overground station 20-min walk/10-min bikeride.

ABOUT ME:
I’m a 33/y old solo-poly female, originally from The Netherlands, been in London for 6 years. Living with my 2 black rescue cats (Siouxsie and Banshee), who are super friendly and well-trained (to not go inside your room! unless you want to :)). I am a department head at an indie record label, in the office 2 times a week/wfh 3 days. I travel abroad frequently for work and go to gigs often, so looking for someone who’s happy to look after the cats when I’m away. Perk: you’ll have plenty of alone time :) In my free time I work on my synthpop artist project, do swimming/boxing/rollerskating/yoga, like to go out for dinner/to gigs/cinema. I’m an extroverted introvert with a busy life, so I do most of my social life out of the house and like the house to be a chill oasis to recharge. I occasionally have friends/family from abroad coming to stay for a few days.
