THE HOUSE

🏡 The house has 1 bathroom, a living room and a large open plan kitchen with a dining area, driveway and a large garden. The available room is furnished with a super king sized bed, mattress, built in wardrobe, 4 chest of drawers and more. The kitchen is equipped with microwave, toaster, a filter water tap and more.

🚇🌳The house is located on a quiet residential street, and is an 8 minute walk from Maryland station (Elizabeth line) and about 20 minute walk to Stratford station or a 10 minute bus ride, and 10 minutes from Forrest Gate station. It’s also a short walk away from Olympic park which is gorgeous to be around, right next to Hackney Wick.

🛒🛍️🏋️‍♀️ Sainsbury, Tesco, Co-op, Morrisons and Lidl are all also a short walk away, as well as some independent shops and grocery stores, and eco friendly zero waste refill shops. There are several cafes, bars, pubs and restaurants nearby, and of course, Westfield Stratford city, with multiple food courts and 4 floors of shops. There are also a few gyms within 10-15 minute walk away.

ABOUT THE HOUSEMATES

You’ll be living with April (26) and Elena (28) and Mango (ginger cat, 5.5). April works for Doctors Without Borders in the DEI department, and often works from home. Elena has just moved down to London but was working in hospitality and events.

They’re both fairly easy going and social - love a chat, going out / staying in for a few drinks, having a wholesome dinners or movie nights. Some of our personal interests: film, Anime, current affairs/social political topics and pina coladas!

They’re both super clean and tidy and generally clean up straight away.

This is not a party house but the occasional drinks is hosted from time to time.

ABOUT YOU

We’re a girls household, looking for someone around 30yo, chill, tidy and social, and who also loves cats. They would also appreciate someone who also loves to socialise and chit chat, and not a room hermit!

It i super important that you actively like cats (as opposed to tolerate cats), and do not mind him in your room, as he is quite used to being in this room (it’s really his room!) 🐈

We don’t have cleaning rota, but keeping a clean and tidy space is extremely important, so regular day to day upkeep is expected and appreciated, with regular deep cleans as well.

We're also looking for someone who is queer friendly, POC friendly, and watermelon-friendly.

No couples or students or smokers.
