Description
We’re looking for someone friendly and tidy to take my lovely large room near Stratford/Bromley by Bow in the Sugar House Island development.
Ideally the move in date will be beginning / mid December. This will require a change of sharer to be completed on the contract with the estate agents.
The area is modern and safe, the flat is overlooking the river Lea, within 15min walk of three stations and 2-3 mins of bus stops, with gorgeous canal walks available every way you go.
You’ll be sharing the flat with two people - two girls both in their late 20s early 30s, both busy professionals who like bonding over food sharing and the occasional cocktail making evening. They work hybrid jobs and will wfh at least 1-2 days a week.
My room is lovely and bright with 3 large windows facing east and south on the river Lea! A large desk easily fits and has plenty of storage including under ottoman bed storage, large in-built wardrobe and chests of drawers.
While one of the bedrooms has an ensuite, this room is largest with the best views - and you'll share a large bathroom with bath and shower with one other flatmate.
The flat is modern, quiet and warm - it comes with underfloor heating, modern white goods, and plenty of storage. There is a concierge on the development where you can easily collect your parcels. The flat comes with its own large storage unit in the basement for suitcases, boxes and bicycles. Maintenance can be easily booked on the Sugar House app - where you'll also find local free events.
There is a large Tesco, bar, off licence, gym, dance studio, bouldering gym, paddle gym, and other activities nearby as well as a 15 min walk from the many amenities and attractions in Stratford and the Queen Elizabeth park. Really well connected by a cycle lane too.
Bills are usually up to £150 each including electricity, heating, water, council tax and internet.
