As our flatmate is moving out to be closer to work and friends, one bedroom has become available in our homey 4 bedroom house located in a quiet cul de sac in Streatham from beginning/mid-February (the exact date is TBC). It is a great location, less than 10 minutes from Streatham station, various buses including night buses, the highstreet and multiple parks and a lido 🙂
About the house:
Our house is spread across two floors. On the ground floor is the kitchen, large living and dining room and a small toilet. On the first floor, there is your room and two more, and one bathroom to be shared with two other flatmates. And then there is the loft with one room and its own bathroom.
Your future bedroom features a double bed, chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe and has ample space to also put up a desk and further shelves/storage. The room is facing our front garden, and it is very quiet (like the rest of the house). It is a nice spacious and warm room with loads of natural light which makes it really cosy.
The house comes fully equipped, the kitchen has it all, with the advantage of having 2 fridges/freezers and the all-mighty tumble dryer. There is a back garden which is perfect for a summer BBQ or just some sun bathing. There is also a front parking space, ideal if you have a car, and a garage (used mainly as storage).
About your future household
You will be living in a gender- and nationality mixed household (two girls and one guy, aged between 26 and 40). We are all working professionals with jobs in the civil service, child care and policy. We all have our own lives and hobbies such as gaming and salsa dancing but also love to chat over a glass of wine and tea and have dinner or movie nights together. We are an easygoing but equally very respectful, inclusive and tidy house and everyone is welcome.
About you
We are looking for a working professional, ideally between 27-40 years old (to match our current ages) and who likes a relaxed, clean house and who wants to have more than just a place to sleep. Also if you have a green thumb for the garden or like a BBQ then you are more than welcome :)
The boring bits
The price of the room is: £667.25 pcm
and bills are approximately £130 per person/month.
So in total about 800£ including all bills 😉
