Large, peaceful bedroom in family house near Streatham Common available for independent, professional person. The room is on the first floor and is south facing. It is furnished with a large double bed, bedside cabinet, desk and chair, armchair and wardrobes. The shared area includes a kitchen/breakfast room, sitting room, shower room (on the ground floor), and a large garden.

The Common is nearby, as are cafés, restaurants, gyms, swimming pool, ice rink and several large supermarkets. Streatham station (trains to London Bridge, City, St Pancras, Sutton, Wimbledon etc.) is 5 minutes' walk and Streatham Common station (trains to Victoria) is 15 minutes' walk. There are freequent buses to Balham and Brixton tubes.

We are looking for a clean, considerate, quiet lodger, who is mature and independent. Applicants must be in full-time employment, and preferably out of the house most days as I teach from home. They should be happy to forego eating meat in the house. Wifi access included. Please note, this is a family home, with a room to let. It is not a flatshare.
