Room in a 2 bed Flat

Hello potential future flatmate,

A double room has become available in our charmingly chaotic two-bed flat in Streatham and we’re looking for someone lovely to join.

The flat is a short five-minute stroll from Streatham Common station, 15 minutes from Streatham Hill, and a 15-minute bus ride to Tooting Broadway Underground. So if you like trains, buses, or just being connected to civilisation we’ve got you covered.

The flat comes partly furnished and includes a tiny but mighty sitting room with a comfy sofa where you can collapse after a long day of pretending to be productive. There’s also a shared kitchen and bathroom. On-street parking is available if you’re lucky or have good parking karma. Plus, we’re surrounded by loads of convenience shops and genuinely great neighbours. Like, the kind who nod and say “hello” without it being weird.

The room is a double plenty of space for a bed, desk, drawers. - This is unfurnished! So if you would like a blank canvas this room is perfect for you!

Rent is £900 a month. Bills are around £150 per person, but we like surprises so it’s sometimes less. We split everything 50/50 like a healthy co-parenting situation. I handle most of the bills while my housemate manages water and council tax. Rent goes directly to the letting agent no shady middlemen here.

Ideally looking for someone who would keep this a girls only house (do not mind the occasional man over ofc)

Now for the important bit: me.

I work full-time Monday to Friday and I’m currently training to become a clinical scientist yes, it’s as cool as it sounds. I love anything science-y, and have watched more Gilmore Girls than I care to admit. I’m clean, organised, easygoing. Friends describe me as “the chilled one” but that might just be their polite way of saying I nap a lot.
