Hello!
We're looking for a potential new roomie to share our lovely 4 bed flat/house in Streatham.
It's a great house, big open plan kitchen/living room/dining room, 2 bathrooms. There's a big garden and tools in the shed if you're green fingered, you're more than welcome to get involved! If you cycle there's a secure side gate / alleyway for bikes. There's also plenty of on street parking around if you drive which is free. The room is a nice sized double, and only comes with a wardrobe and small chest of drawers so you'll need to provide some furniture.
You'll be sharing a bathroom with 2 ladies as August has his own en-suite.
We're all clean and respectful people, and love to chill together, and every so often have dinners / wine / movie nights. Happy to have guests over to stay, just give us a heads up first.
About us:
I'm Katie, 34, civil servant. I work from home twice a week so am around often but not all the time. I'm quite social, enjoy travelling, cooking, baking, going out with pals and raving to dnb (within reasonable volumes at home!) I'm also fairly active and enjoy the gym and yoga so can recommend good classes nearby.
August, 31, heating technician. Works most days but not a set schedule so sometimes about during the day. Loves the gym, film, cooking, festivals, and is our chief gardener.
Alex, 25, teacher. Has just moved in and is in London for a few months before continuing studying next year. She leaves end of Jan and we'd look then to find someone for her room, for the remainder of our time here.
Tenancy
We currently know we'll be keeping the contract until 31st May 24 - hence why the room is only available until then, as I'll be leaving the UK and August is currently undecided. However, if the potential tenant wants to start a new tenancy with the landlord I'm sure that could be figured out (although you'd need to find new tenant(s) and sign a fresh contract.)
I manage the house bills etc from my account which come to approx £100 each a month and are added to the cost of the room so it's £800 all in.
