En suite room in friendly Streatham house

Hi everyone! I’m looking to fill two rooms in a modern 3 bedroom house just off Streatham High Street. Sadly, my current flatmates are both moving overseas, so their rooms will be available soon.

Room 1 is taken.

Room 2:
The rent is £950 (not including bills). The room is furnished (bed, mattress, wardrobe) and there is an en-suite bathroom. Move in date is flexible but looking between mid-September and end of September 2025.

The house is lovely and spacious, with a shared kitchen and living room. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, and the living room has my TV and Xbox, both of which you're welcome to use. There's access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV, and Sky Go. Upstairs also contains a laundry room with a washing machine and clothes drying rack. We also have a cleaner who visits twice a month and cleans the entire place (including bathrooms). This is an additional cost of £26 per person per month and so worth it! Bills are around
£150 a month per person.

Great location within a residential area, mere minutes from the high street, meaning you live in a quiet area but have access to the hustle and bustle of London. Street parking is available with a permit.

Location highlights:
- Just a 10-minute walk to two train stations
- Close to several gyms, a large swimming pool, and an Odeon cinema (5 mins walk)
- Loads of pubs, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby, including a huge Tesco within walking distance
- Easy access to Brixton (buses every few minutes) and the Victoria Line

The landlord is great. Happy to fix any issues quickly but also respects space and privacy.

A little about me: I'm 31, originally from the North of England, and work for a social mobility charity in central London (WFH 2–3 days a week). I’m into football (a long-suffering Stoke fan), enjoy swimming, pub trips, a game of FIFA, exploring London, and binge-watching TV. I’m generally laid-back, sociable but also respectful of space.
