Description

Hey all! Currently have a fabulous double room in a large property available in Streatham.

The Room
Spacious, furnished, double room on the second floor of the property. High ceilings with a big window. Bed, wardrobe and drawers included. Shared bathroom with one other. (The bed looks huge in pics as it currently has 2 mattresses on but won’t be there when moved in)

The House
It’s a 4 bed property above, what was, an old shop. Big, bright, comfy living room and kitchen. 2 large landings. 2 shared bathrooms, one with a bath. Classic Victorian high ceilings over two levels. A lot of space which is a rare find in the big smoke!

The Flatmates
3 fun, creative and funky girls who love a laugh. We’re old uni mates so have an active social life (of which you’re welcome to join). Most of our passions revolve around theatre, gigs and comedy. We’re super inclusive and queer so ideally would find a flatmate with the same vibe. We have very occasional parties but we’re by no means “a party house”. Oftentimes, we have mates round for dinner and have family come to visit/stay so we’ve got no problem with you’re partners/friends/fam over.

Rent/Bills
Rent is £731.95 pcm not including bills. Usually, bills come to around £80 split evenly - this can, very slightly, change depending on usage.

Location
We’re at the bottom of Streatham High Street which is great for a coffee and charity shop crawl. There’s a Sainsburys local on the doorstep and a Tesco Extra, Aldi and Lidl within a 20 min walk.

It’s about a 14 min walk to Streatham Station and a 12 min walk to Streatham Common Station - both have direct links to Blackfriars and London Bridge. It’s a 25 min walk to Tooting Bec station on the Northern line and also walkable to Tooting Broadway. With a bus stop right outside that takes you straight to Brixton, you can get there in 30ish mins.

We’re 10 mins away from Tooting Common and the Lido, which is lush in the Summer for a quick dip and tinnies in the park. The Common is great for walks, runs and a lovely route for a walk into Balham.
