Room available in Streatham 2-bed Flat

Looking for someone to take over the tenancy for my room in a gorgeous 2-bed flat in Streatham.

Located a 10-minute walk from Streatham station, just off the high street, the flat is spacious and bright, with high ceilings and large windows. Its best feature is the large living room, adjoined to a kitchen, which gets afternoon sun and has large sash windows that you can open. The flat is well insulated and well ventilated, meaning it stays warm in the winter but cool in the summer.

The room is small, but will fit a double bed with small furniture (e. g. bedside table), and has a large shelving unit on the back wall for clothing and storage. There are two very large cupboards in the communal spaces which can be used as additional storage.

The other room is occupied by my current housemate Hannah (she/her), a 30-year old freelance video producer, who is super friendly, tidy and clean, relaxed and respectful of space. If you come to view the room, we'll organise it so you can meet Hannah too. The flat is the middle flat in the house, which is formed of three flats. Both our upstairs and downstairs neighbours are very friendly and sociable.

There are many supermarkets nearby - Lidl is a 3 minute walk, Aldi and Tesco Extra are 10 minutes away, and big Sainsburys 15 minutes. There's great local pubs, Thai food, gym, cinema, handy shops, all just a few minutes walk away. It's a 15 minute bus into Brixton.

The room is £750 per month, and bills come to between £130-150 each, including council tax, all year round.
