Sunny quiet dbl room in attractive victorian maisonette in Streatham available for £850pcm all bills included (council tax band C).

The flat is on a quiet residential road, only minutes from the Streatham High Road, 5min from Streatham Mainline which offers fast & direct connections into London Bridge as well as Blackfriars/St. Pancras.
There are further countless bus connections to Brixton or Balham and also Streatham Common & Streatham Hill train station are within easy walking distance.

The room (approx. 10sqm)is at the back of the house and very quiet, ideal for somebody looking for a restful place .
It comes furnished with a 4ft bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers & shelves (chest of drawers can be swapped for a desk, There is also cupboard space outside the room and a rail can be added for more hanging space)
You would have full use of kitchen & bathroom. The living room is also shared, however, there are times (mostly Monday and Wednesday mornings at present) it will be off limits as I see a small number of online therapy clients from there.
My boyfriend lives outside London, so once or twice per month on average I spend time with him there, so will be away for the weekend. He also stays in the flat on occasion, but travels a lot. There will be times when he's in the flat one or several nights and then not for weeks.

There is on-street parking, but you would need to look into parking permits yourself.
The Streatham High Road provides you with all your local shopping needs, a giant Tesco, M&S, Leisure centre with big pool & gym and a local Odeon cinema.
Both Streatham Common & Tooting common are only a 5-10min walk away.

The rent is inclusive of bills & wireless fibre optic broadband.

I will require a month deposit and monthly rent payment in advance.

About me....I am a German and British dual national and have lived in London since 2003. After a 20 year career in fashion design, I have recently retrained as a Gestalt psychotherapist. I currently work partly from home and partly out of therapy practices in Brixton and Streatham, occasionally still as a designer, but am mostly a therapist in private practice. I am kind, considerate and easy to be around, like cinema, Netflix, culture, the outdoors & crafting. I am also quite environmentally minded, into my recycling, vege food, and have a keen interest in sustainability. I like a good mix between quiet time and socialising and am generally up for a chat over dinner.

I am looking for somebody kind, reliable, clean, friendly & considerate, with a positive outlook on life, non-smoker, no party animals, who works full time, ideally the majority of that time outside of the home, but some home working days are okay.
The room is single occupancy, so no couples or regular/frequent boyfriend/girlfriend overnight stays, please, but occasional guests or visits from family are okay.

I am looking to find a good fit for the room, someone where I feel we will get on well and enjoy living with each other.
