Big Room In Lovely Period Streatham Flat

Hello Spareroomers,

We have a lovely big room up for grabs in a gorgeous flat in Streatham. With wood floors and a huge window, it comes furnished with a double bed, bedside table, and wardrobe.

We're on the first floor of a Victorian house on a quiet residential road in Streatham. The whole flat has lovely high ceilings and most of the flat has wood floors. There's a charming bathroom, and large kitchen-sitting room with a range cooker, sofas, and the rest of the usual kitchen stuff. It's really very nice – needs to be seen to be believed! – and we have a great landlord.

The flat is a seven-minute walk to Streatham railway station where you can catch the train to London Bridge, Blackfriars, Elephant & Castle, St Pancras in 20 minutes or so. A short walk to Streatham Hill or Streatham Common gets you direct to Victoria, and Clapham Junction too. There are several buses which go to Brixton for the Victoria line, and also to Tooting Bec or Balham for the Northern line.

You will be sharing with me, Eleanor, a writer, and Aggy, a landscape architect. We're both quite busy people, but love to catch up in the evenings when we can, and have supper together when time allows.

We are looking for someone lovely to join us – ours is a sociable house but not a party one!

BILLS/RENT

It's £650 a month plus bills, which are £100 a month (for gas/electricity/council tax/broadband/water). The deposit is £650, and there are no fees.

The room is available from 30 September.
