Hello, thanks for taking the time to look at our lovely property.

The flat is owned by myself and my partner, we bought it nearly 3 years ago as a new build so the condition is close to perfect. We now live abroad and our tenants are moving out, so we are looking for new people to take over.

For anyone moving in to the area, it is important to know that this is the most welcoming building we've experienced in London. The residents who tend to be young professionals, are all so kind, friendly and neighbourly. There is a very active Facebook group where you will will find people giving away their things, suggesting a sporting activity or simply somewhere to go to ask for help, on frankly anything. There is also a very active residents association group - who can come to your aid about anything.

If you look at Streatham Park (Derry Court) online you will see this is a block of new privately owned flats which sit above and around a 24 hour Tesco (very handy). Built 3 years ago now, in the very up and coming Streatham area. Whilst the flat benefits from the local amenities, it is actually tucked far away from the hustle and bustle of the area by being located at the very back, overlooking the lovely quiet back streets of Streatham common. You will see the back of the building (including our flat) if you type the postcode in to Google Maps.

The flat is a lovely quiet little safe haven in Zone 3, a 3 min walk to Streatham Station and a 10 min walk to Streatham Common station. You are very well connected here with trains getting you to Central London within 20 mins and to many areas South and North of London. The tube is just a few train stops from Balham or a short bus ride to Brixton. Streatham has been up and coming for a while now and you will see this from the plethora of cafes, bars and restaurants in and around the area, as mentioned previously we are attached to a giant 24 hour Tesco Extra, so just an elevator ride away to get anything from food and clothes to electronics. However, if it's quiet you are after you are only a 5 minute walk from the common itself and the beautiful Rookery gardens. For those gym goers of you, right next door is Streatham Ice and Leisure Centre - where you can go ice skating on an olympic ice skating rink, swim or work out in their well equipped gym. You even get a discount for being a local.

The flat is fully furnished, with a little room for negotiation. We have a large lounge/kitchen/diner which leads to a balcony. This is the best part about the property - with a small English country garden included, the flat faces houses and being 3 floors up you get a fantastic view of South London. We have the sun from midday onwards and you can watch the sun go down all year round, a rarity in London. The bedrooms are a good size, both with large in-built wardrobes, one bedroom has an en-suite then we have a second bathroom incl bath. For more pics, I can add you to a Dropbox link, just ask!

I am looking for someone to take the flat over by November. Included in the rent is the service charge which includes 24/7/365 security, who amongst other duties also sign for parcels. We have an on-site Property Manager on hand at all times for any major issues. A 6 week deposit will also be required on the property. We are open to 3 people, under certain terms - please enquire.

Bills in the flats have been consistently low, the amounts we pay on average per month, as below:

One more point to make, if you have a car there is a plethora of free parking spaces in the roads just behind the flats or, for a cost, you can also look to rent a space from a current owner within the property.
