Cute Cosy Room Available in Friendly Houseshare

A room is becoming available in our spacious Streatham Hill house share from 11th August.

ABOUT THE HOUSE:
It’s a four bedroom house set over three floors. There are separate living and kitchen areas (both huge spaces great for hosting) and a garden which we make plenty of use of in the summer. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the usual bits including a dishwasher, and there’s a dining table which is great for house dinners.

THE ROOM:
It’s a decent sized double on the first floor with a window out to the garden. It comes with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and built in shelves. The landlord replaced the windows within the last year so the room is really cosy and quiet.

WHO YOU’LL BE LIVING WITH:
Hannah - I’m 32 and I’ve lived here for 3 years now. I work as a Marketing Manager for a tech startup in the charity space. I go into the office most days during the week but tend to be around in the evenings. I like to keep fairly busy socially with pub quizzes, rollerskating, dance classes, cinema etc. but also love a night in watching TV with the others.

Joelle is 30 and works in marketing and events for a real estate company. She likes to keep active with running, squash, and yoga throughout the week. She’s definitely the foodie of the house and is always cooking up something fancy in the kitchen or trying new London restaurant openings. Joelle has many hidden talents, some of which will surface after a few glasses of wine…

Laura is 31 and moved in back in October last year. Laura has a busy schedule as a self employed acting coach and an actor and director herself: When she’s not working she loves to take advantage of her long holidays and travel, socialise with friends, go to the theatre or just chill out at the house.

We’re very sociable and enjoy spending time together, going out for drinks, day trips etc so are are looking for someone who is interested in becoming a friend as well as a housemate. We’ve all lived in London a while now so all have our own friends and lives here too. The house is very chilled and relaxed and we’re looking to keep that same vibe!

LOCATION:
Streatham Hill is really well connected with frequent buses down to Brixton. We’re a 6 min walk to Streatham Hill train station and 15 mins to Tulse Hill. Streatham High Road has loads of cafes, gyms, M&S, Lidl all within walking distance, plus we’re between Tooting Common and Brockwell Park which is great for walks, tennis and swimming at the lido.

BILLS:
The £805 cost includes rent, council tax, wifi, gas, electric, water, Sky and a fortnightly cleaner.

LANDLORD:
The landlady is great - she handles everything herself and whenever we’ve had a problem she’s straight onto it.
