I have an amazing fully furnished double ensuite room to rent in a large flat equidistant from Streatham Hill Station (for Victoria) & Tulse Hill Station (for London Bridge)!
It's a fantastic flat with lots of space, storage, and brilliant for entertaining friends.
The People:
Serena, a working professional and have been here for 3 months, living with Queralt. Queralt is sadly moving out soon.
The Room:
The available room is great, it has a comfortable bed, chest of draws, wardrobe, full length mirror and shelving units.
The flat itself has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The other room has the en suite, so you will be the primary user of the main flat bathroom that has a shower and a bath.
The Flat:
The rest of the flat is huge. Big and fully equipped kitchen, gas hobs, newish washing machine, breakfast bar.
Open plan to the lounge and dining area with an L-shaped sofa, big TV for nights in, extendable dining table for dinner parties. It's a good living space that we have both been able to work from home in when we’re here together.
It's a quiet first floor flat, facing onto the bottom half of Romeyn Road with *free parking* right outside. We have access behind the building to Leigham Vale for a shortcut to Tulse Hill. It's in a modern good looking block along with 10-15 other flats, a mixture of owners and renters, all professionals, all very nice and friendly.
The Area:
In terms of shops – there's a post office and two convenience stores literally 30 metres from the building, another around the corner as part of the petrol station. 8 min walk to Streatham High St, with an M&S Foodhall, Tesco Extra, Co-Op, everything you need (+ Nandos + wine bars).
*The rent start date would technically be 1 Feb 2025, but we are looking for someone to move in earlier if that is possible.*
The Cost:
The room is £890 per month excluding bills, which we split equally. Some bills we are responsible for directly, some that we pay to the landlord to take care of.
I'm ideally looking for a female flatmate, aged 28–35, who is clean, tidy, and keeps our flat in great condition, is friendly yet respectful of privacy.
