Double room in a social house!

We're searching for a housemate to join our lovely 3 storey large social house from 1st Feb!

The room:

A large furnished double room.

The room is set on the middle floor of a large 3 storey house.

The room boasts ample space for working from home and comes complete with a double bed, wardrobe (with drawers) and bookcase. This room shares a bathroom with two other housemates.

The room is priced very competitively at £790, with bills additional that are approximately £150pcm.

Our ideal move in date would be the 1st Feb with viewings commencing asap.

The house:

A large 4 bedroom terrace house split across three floors - located halfway up a residential road just off Streatham High Road, we’re set back from all of the traffic, but within a short walking distance of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and other local amenities.

There are 4 toilets in total, 2 of which are en-suites, a family bathroom and a toilet on the ground floor.

Separate kitchen-diner with a dishwasher and an amazing sociable garden with Astroturf, a BBQ and a shed handy for storage. We have a cleaner who comes every two weeks.

The housemates:

1. Female, 31, works in human rights. Likes tennis, pilates, cooking & pub evenings. Works from home two days a week.
2. Female 26, works in medical comms. Loves running, tennis and socialising. Works from home most of the time
3 & 4. Male 29 and female 25 (couple) work in product design and as an optician. They both like sport, Guinness, pub quizzes and travelling. Both work from the office most of the time.

Housemate suitability:

Unfortunately, no couples. Partners and friends are most welcome, we just respect each other’s time, space and privacy.

We all met via Spareroom. We enjoy the odd drink after work, host the occasional social gathering and enjoy keeping fit. So, if this sounds of interest, you would definitely fit in.

Working from home:

Currently, 2 housemates work from home full/part time, but we have 1gb fibre internet and enough space around the house - so it’s more than adequate for any WFH needs.

Travel:

Buses come every couple of minutes from the end of the road (60 second walk) straight in to Brixton where you can get on the Victoria Line of the tube. (14min bus ride)
Streatham Hill Station, is a 5min walk which can get you directly to Clapham junction (10mins overground)
Victoria Station (18mins overground)
Crystal Palace (10min overground)
Clapham South (15min Bus. Northern Line)

Pubs:

Many pubs within 10min walking distance - the cheapest pub in London is a 10 minute walk away!

Parks:

The house is located near Streatham Common, Tooting Common and Brockwell Park, and walking distance to Clapham Common.
