I’m moving out of my stunning bedroom in a 2-bed apartment and need someone to replace me!
FLAT:
2-bedroom apartment in sought-after Gaumont Place in Streatham Hill.
2 balconies off the property plus a communal garden in the middle of the development.
Development has concierge here every day 7-7 and a free gym!
Bedroom comes with double bed and mattress, 2x bedside tables, wardrobe with built-in drawers and wall art. Pics are from before I moved in as I have some of my own furniture - if you want a desk then a bedside table can go in the storage cupboard and you can fit one in for wfh (but I just use the dining table as I usually have the flat to myself during day times).
Open plan kitchen/living/dining with integrated appliances (including dishwasher), dining table and chairs, sofa, coffee table.
Big storage cupboard off the hallway with washer/dryer and plenty of room for suitcases, etc.
Modern bathroom with bath tub, rainfall shower and separate shower head.
30-second walk to Streatham Hill station with direct trains to Victoria and London Bridge. Buses from directly outside to Clapham, Brixton, Balham, etc every few mins.
FLATMATE:
An absolute angel - 29yo Aussie gay male who works as a hairdresser in Kensington, so is out of the flat Tuesday - Saturday daytimes, but doesn’t mind you working from home! He’s clean, considerate, laidback and super friendly.
COST:
Rent is £1,050 per month (an absolute steal for this development based on conversations with other residents).
Bills come to around £160 per month.
Deposit of £1,211 which would be payable to me and names will be changed on TDS holding.
I assume a new 12-month tenancy agreement will be entered into with a 6-month break clause (I can check this though).
Property is managed by an agent so would need to pass their referencing. Happy to sublet until all documentation etc is sorted with the agency 🙂
