Large double room in beautiful town house

Hello!

I’m looking for someone to join me in my flat in Streatham Hill as unfortunately my bestie is moving in with their partner at the end of the contract (June 10th), but can be flexible from 21st May if needed.

The room available is a double room, unfurnished (except for a double mirrored built in wardrobe) and has a beautiful feature fireplace and a window with amazing views of London (I love watching the sunrise from here!). I don’t think the photos do it justice at all!

Rent for the room is £925 a month excluding bills which come to £220 a month each (includes electricity (no gas at this property), water, tv licence, council tax, internet). I would be up for a cleaner once a fortnight too!

The rest of the flat is part furnished - I own the green sofa and the TV and plan to buy a new dining table (happy to work together on this/ the furnishings to make it a home for us both!). It’s a converted town house too, so there are nice high ceilings, big windows and feature fireplaces. The flat was also recently renovated to an extremely high standard - everything is in very good working condition. The landlord is super lovely, friendly, and helpful.

We are very well connected: 9 min walk to Streatham Hill station (20 min train to Victoria via Clapham J), or a direct 35 min train to London Bridge. Multiple easy busses to Brixton, and a 15 min walk to Tulse Hill with good connections to the City.

Other bonuses within 10 min radius; gym with a pool, cheap cinema, late night post office (good for the Vinted addiction), and a massive M&S food.

You would be living with me - I would like to think I am very fun and friendly; always up for a chat with a wine, a coffee walk in the morning or time with some trashy tv in the evening. I’m respectful, tidy and take good care our home, and I’m looking for someone who has these similar values.

I’m currently working full time in an office (so out of the flat most of the day), working as Head of Projects for a design & production agency. I like to keep myself busy with gigs, exhibitions and catching up with my friends on the weekend.
