Hello! Jamie (30), Patty (31), and Dave (34) are looking for a fourth housemate to join us in Streatham Hill for the end of September (or sooner if needed and the right fit),
It is £675 for the room, £894 for the deposit, and usually bills are around £150 a month.
The house is a very short walk to the station, buses and shops. There will be checks and references required by the estate agents upon agreeing the tenancy. If you are in a position that you will need a guarantor that's fine, but just be prepared to have those details to hand if successful.
About the Room:
The room itself is £675, and overlooks the garden. It will come with a bed, double mattress, small clothes rail if required. The rest of the house has so much storage any excess stuff you don’t need daily can be stored elsewhere, with a cupboard for coats and shoes etc. downstairs.
About You:
The new housemate should be female (to keep a balance) and over the age of 28. We live in a quiet area. We have a garden which is cut regularly by our property manager who also repairs/replaces what we need.
About Us:
We like to hang out as a house as we feel it is important to feel the house is a home and not just a room in a house, but that said we have a great balance of independence to do your own thing.
As a house, we contribute to a weekly cleaner, and the absolute house admin Queen that is Patty sorts out monthly bills. In return we ask that you might use the kitchen and cook a meal, tidy up in after yourself and be kind.
Why the Room is Available:
My name is Harriet, I have lived with the house for 2 years and have been in the current property 9 months. I am not moving on for any other reason than moving on to my next chapter. Whilst exciting, I’m incredibly sad to leave this house - I love this group of people and living here more than a spare room advert can express. You will have a great time.
