Double room in Streatham hill

I’m looking for someone to take over my double room in Streatham Hill, I have lived there for the past year with two lovely girl friends. They are clean, friendly and good communicators. I am looking to move out ASAP as there’s a guardianship property in the area I’m keen to move into.

The location is great for amenities- right on Streatham hill with a 24-hour shop just across the road, a GP nearby, amazing Mediterranean supermarket (also bakery), cafes, a sushi spot etc. The station is 5 minutes away and Brixton is walkable (if you’re into walking). Also close to Clapham/tooting common, great spot for runs.

The room is furnished with a bed and wardrobe, and there’s a big tree just outside the window and I swear the squirrels are bad ass I’ve never seen such bold rodents. Also sound of birdsong in the morning is nice and the leaves go a really nice orange colour in the autumn (can you tell I’m going to miss the tree? lol).

The flat is spacious and full of natural light, with a shared living room that has a comfy L-shaped sofa and a TV for chilled evenings. Kitchen is small but it’s a really nice space with views over the garden and we have enough storage for the three of us.

There’s a separate WC and shower room, which is useful if you need the toilet when someone’s in the shower. We’ve got a communal garden with big trees, flowers, a picnic bench, and a BBQ — plus access to the roof, which is a massive open space with really nice views. A few people have put plants, chairs etc up there- there was also a hammock for a while.

You’ll be sharing with two friendly, considerate women who are also good friends. If you’re clean and easygoing, you’ll feel right at home here.

All bills are included in the price - also includes £10 a month which goes toward communal products like toilet paper, washing-up liquid, etc. We like to keep things nice so we have a cleaning rota.
