Hi!

This is a short term rental of UP TO 5 MONTHS from mid/late October 2025 while I’m away on my winter travels 😊

£1,475/month including some bills; approximately £1,650/month all-in – see further details below.

My stunning bright and airy modern flat that's been home for over 10 years is ideal for a couple. See photos including floor plan and Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). I’m very happy to do a video call of the flat before arranging a viewing.

I’ll be away travelling from late October 2025 to late February 2026, however there is some flexibility with your move in/out dates. Mid October is the earliest possible move in time, and I’ll need to move back in by the end of March at the latest. I’m looking for a commitment to a MINIMUM STAY OF 3 MONTHS. My friendly neighbours can help out with any logistics if I’m not around.

It's a quiet top (third) floor modern flat on a mansion block located just off Streatham High Road; note that there is no lift. The bedroom (‘Bedroom 1’ in the floor plan photo) contains a double bed (135x190cm), a large wardrobe and a drawer. The flat has an open plan kitchen/lounge with sofabed, and the bathroom. Free off-street parking (unallocated space) is available to the rear of the building. The flat is fully furnished and therefore space for any personal furniture is very limited. I'll retain the second (smaller room) for storage of personal belongings while away.

It's a 5 minute walk to Streatham Hill station (for Clapham Junction, Victoria and London Bridge) and a 10 minute walk to Streatham station (for Thameslink services), both in Zone 3. There is a constant supply of buses to central London via Brixton (10-15 minutes) for the speedy Victoria line.

The vibrant local neighbourhood has a wide selection of everything you should need! Tooting Common is just a 10 minute walk away and Balham a 20 minute walk.

BILLS – TV licence and fibre broadband are included in the rent. Your share (50%) of Council Tax (Band C) will be around £75/month (I will pay the other 50%). Electricity/gas combined during the past winter was approximately £70/month and water (metered) is currently around £30/month based on the average person’s usage. So, bills including council tax will be around £175/month depending on your energy and water usage. The energy efficiency of the flat is high – see photos for recent EPC.
