Lovely double room in huge Streatham Flat

We have a lovely room to rent on Streatham Hill, available from February 1st!

You will be living with myself (33), my partner Ami (35) and our delightful little Schnoodle, Otto (10 months).

So, a little about us… I am a horticulturist specialising in biophilic design and working in the city so there’s plants EVERYWHERE, Ami is an office manager for a digital agency and Otto is a full-time dog. We enjoy socialising, good food, cooking, cozy nights, pubs, good TV and movies.

We are looking for a like minded person to join the household, someone who wants to make this a home with friends. Ideally a professional in their 30s. We would like to find someone who is respectful of others and the shared space and wants to settle into a long term home, and of course you need to be good with dogs.

We have a beautiful and spacious four bed flat on the top floor of a 1930s block. It’s a gated community with private gardens, access to an allotment, bike storage, off street parking and many other perks.

The flat has four bedrooms, Ami and I occupy two rooms (a bedroom and office), you’ll have your spacious room with double aspect windows overlooking the community garden, and then there’s a spare room for friends and family visits. When it’s unoccupied it doubles as Ottos bedroom and a laundry drying room.

We have an absolutely enormous living/dining room, open plan kitchen, two bathrooms (one with shower, one with bath), a utility room for storage, a fire escape/balcony and decent views.

The area is very nice, we are just off the high street so plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, coffeehouses etc within 5 mins walk. Tooting and Streatham Commons are 15 mins walk, and Brockwell park is around 30 minutes walk.

Transport is excellent, we have two overground/national rail stations nearby (Streatham Hill Station 5 mins, Streatham Station 10mins), and loads of bus routes from right outside. Brixton tube and the Vicky Line is a 10 mins bus ride.
