This is a lovely, airy, room to rent within a beautiful and spacious South-facing, four-bedroom flat on the top (fourth) floor of a 1930s block in Streatham Hill with great views throughout. You will have a bright, open, South-facing bedroom with large double aspect windows on both sides, overlooking the well-maintained and spacious private community gardens. It is a gated community with access to an on-site allotment, bike storage and off-street parking as well.

The flat has four bedrooms and an absolutely enormous living/dining room, with large windows on all sides, an open plan kitchen, two bathrooms (one with a shower, one with a bath), a utility room for storage, and a fire escape/balcony, as well as a front entrance.

There is also a spare room with double bed in the flat for everyone’s visiting friends and family.

The area is vibrant, and we are just minutes away from Streatham High Road, full of plenty of shops, bars, restaurants of all flavours, coffeehouses etc. Tooting Common and Streatham Common are just 15 minutes away, and Brockwell Park is around a 30 minutes’ walk.

Transport facilities are excellent. We have two Overground/National Rail stations nearby (Streatham Hill Station, 5 minutes, Streatham Station, 10 minutes), and loads of bus routes from literally right outside the gardens. Brixton Tube and the Victoria Line is just a 10-minute bus ride away.

So, a little about us… You will be living with myself (33) and Ami (35) and our delightful little Schnoodle, Otto (10 months). We occupy two rooms (a bedroom and an office).

I am a Horticulturist specialising in Biophilic Design and working in the city so there are plants throughout the flat. Ami is an Office Manager for a digital agency and Otto is a full-time dog. We enjoy socialising, pubs, cooking, good food, nights in, good TV and movies.

We are looking for a friendly, like-minded person to join the household, someone who wants to make this a home. Ideally a professional in their 30s. We would like to find someone who is respectful of others and shared space principles and wants to settle into a long-term home, and of course you need to be okay with dogs.
