Sublet in lovely 2-bed Streatham Hill flat

*PLEASE NOTE - this is a 5 week sublet whilst I am doing some travelling in early 2026. The room is available from 17 January - 21 February and ideally someone would be in it for the whole period. ALL BILLS INCLUDED in the weekly cost.*

My name is Laurie, I am a 35 year old male IT professional and the current tenant. You will be living with Rich, a 33 year old male working at an environmental think tank. Rich is the live in landlord.

The flat is a lovely 2-bed on a quiet street near the top of Brixton Hill. There is a spacious open plan kitchen / living room and a shared bathroom. The flat is very light during the day thanks to the huge bay windows.

The bedroom has a comfy double bed and good storage space. There is space for a folding desk and chair if you need to work from home (I can purchase the desk if needed).

There are regular buses from the nearby main road down into Brixton (5-10 mins), where you can catch the Victoria line underground. Streatham Hill station is a 10 min walk away, with trains into Victoria or London Bridge.

Rich is sociable and easy to get along with. He enjoys cooking, reading, tending to his plants and watching TV when in the flat. He plays tennis and squash, is in a choir, and enjoys socialising with friends away from the flat.

Note that Rich works from home 3 days/week and his desk is in the shared living room. See above about a folding desk for the bedroom.
