Description
We have one double room available from 1 March (with some flexibility for an earlier move-in) for a professional in their 30s or early 40s to join our friendly household! (Note: One of the two rooms previously advertised has now been taken.)

THE ROOM (on the first floor):
- 1 x double. £775 per month. Available from 1 March – some earlier flexibility possible. Room has built-in wardrobe and the bed can be purchased at negligible price from outgoing tenant. (Two pics of the room are on the listing).
You'd need to provide your own desk, if required.
Rent includes all bills (electricity, gas, internet, water, TV licence, council tax – band E)
THE HOUSE:
Four-bedroom house over three floors with typical amenities. Includes open plan living and dining room, a bright airy kitchen with seating nook, main bathroom with bath/shower, basin and toilet, and an additional WC and washing machine room. The house has a decent-sized garden and patio area that gets the sun throughout the day, as well as the occasional cat visitor.
THE LOCATION:
Streatham Hill is a quiet area in south London – we like to think it is up and coming (we just got a Gail’s Bakery last year). The house is very close to local shops including 3 supermarkets, a 5-min walk to Streatham Hill station and bus stops connecting to Balham, Clapham and Brixton tube stations.
ABOUT US:
We are a friendly, social household, enjoy a tv binge together, boardgames and pub quizzing, as well as going out for food or theatre. The current housemates are working professionals (full-time Mon-Fri) who work from home 3 to 5 days a week.
We like the house to feel like a home and not just somewhere to sleep. LGBTQ+ friendly household, with one member identifying as such.
There’s currently a cat but she is moving out soon, and the neighbours' dog comes to visit sometimes.
ABOUT YOU:
We are ideally looking for professionals approx 30s to early 40s who are clean and tidy, would like to be friends as well as housemates and will help keep the homely vibe going!
Bonus points if you like to cook shared meals!
