Large double bedroom available fromt the 31st of March in a beautiful large house on a quiet residential road in Streatham Hill, between Streatham Hill station and Tulse Hill station. The neighborhood has lots of trees and parks within walking distance (Hillside Gardens, Brockwell Park, Streatham Common).
The bedroom is situated on the ground floor, next to a bathroom with a shower. There's another bathroom upstairs with a bathtub that you're also welcome to use.
The two-story house is very spacious and bright, with a large entry way, a living room with high ceilings and TV, and a dining room and kitchen which both open onto the massive garden with fruit trees, a lawn and firepit.
There's room to store bicycles inside, and there's also an attic for additional storage (accessed by a ladder).
The three housemates are all professionals in our late 20s and mid 30s. We are quite friendly and respectful and sometimes eat meals and have the odd drink together. Vegetarian or vegan preferred!
We have a very friendly and cuddly dog, which we all adore and look after. She's 11 years old, very low maintenance and happy to join you on a walk to park, pub or a cafe). She doesn't need to have constant care but it would be a plus to have someone who works fully/partially remote, or at least is willing to be around often enough so we have someone at home to feed and let her out twice a day.
We are currently negotiating the new contract with the landlord, so the rent will be somewhere between the current price (747.50 per month) and his proposed increase of 822.50. Bills are not included.
