Double room 15 minute walk from Balham

Double room in three bed flat with large back garden for rent! 🏠

After three years in the flat I’m sadly moving out of my flat to move in with my girlfriend so my double room is becoming available.

Flatmates: You’ll be joining Finn and Jack, 2 sociable lads in their 20’s who are respectful of everyone’s space and time but are always down for a chat or a pint after a long day. The lads enjoy both playing and watching sport 🏏 🏉 so make use of the garden & local tooting common (five minute walk), and enjoy chilling on the sofa. Finn works in Sports Journalism and is in the office most days and Jack works as a Tech Consultant and works a mix of from home and in the office

We’re looking for a like minded person who will be sociable but respectful to join them.

The room: The room has lots of natural light☀️, is very airy and is big enough for a desk if you work from home (as shown in the photo). It has plenty of storage with a built in double wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Flat: You’ll be sharing a bathroom with Finn which is spacious and clean. The kitchen / living room is a shared space and has plenty of storage with a huge fridge/freezer. The kitchen/living room also has loads of natural light coming through. The kitchen/living room also backs onto the garden through double French doors. We’ll often sit out on the decking and chat or have a bbq. There is also a shed for any storage purposes of a bike etc.

Surrounding: The flat is a 5 minute walk to Streatham hill station - from here you can be at Victoria in 18 minutes or London Bridge in 35 minutes so it’s been perfect for commuting into the city. Balham is also a 15 minutes walk away so you can access the northern line easily. Brixton is a 15 minute bus away so you can also head straight to the Victoria line.

Surrounding the flat are loads of nice independent coffee spots, restaurants, pubs, and bars accessible in a 5 - 10 minute walk away🍻☕️…truly gutted to leave the best pizza spot only a five minute walk away. In terms of gyms, Fitness first (which has a pool) is a five minute walk away, pure gym a ten minute walk away🏋🏼. A range of large supermarkets & convenient shops are easily accessible nearby (M&S and Co-op a five minute walk away)🛒

Landlord: the landlord is great, he is responsive and will send round the handyman if there areany issues. I’m moving into another one of his properties so can truly say he’s amazing 🤌🏻
