We are looking for a new housemate to join us in in our family home. The current household is myself, semi retired and out and about a lot; my son a graduate at the start of his working life; and a thirty something professional lodger.
The room is a spacious double with views over nearby gardens and glimpses of central London. It offers spacious under eaves storage as well as an adjoining bathroom for your exclusive use.
The ground floor includes a shared lounge, a well appointed kitchen and a small garden with mature plants
The house is in Stroud Green close to Finsbury Park, Crouch End and Green Lanes/Harringey ladder. The overground is 5 minutes away with excellent connections to the city and not bad to the West End. There are also good cycle routes south (north gets very hilly) and walking access to Highgate Wood, Ally Pally and Hampstead Heath via the Parkland Walk.
Rent includes council tax (Band F), water and broadband but not gas/electric. Lodgers are asked to pay a third of the month’s use.
Being an old house there are various parts of the house under constant repair and increasingly this will be to improve insulation and energy efficiency!
