Lodger wanted for spacious double bedroom

Hello! We are a professional couple looking for a lodger for our spare bedroom in our lovely big flat in Surrey Quays / Deptford.

We'll generally only be using the flat for 1-2 nights during the week so the rest of the time you'll pretty much have the place to yourself.

The room is a spacious double and we'll provide a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. (The photos show a single but we're in the process of getting a double!). It also has balcony access via a French door which is brilliant for getting a through breeze during the hot London summers.

Rent is £1,500 per month, inclusive of bills and broadband based on reasonable usage. We are pet friendly provided your sidekick is housetrained.

You'll have full access to the living room, kitchen, balcony etc. and there's a double sofa bed for guests. We'll also provide basic kitchen equipment as well as a smart TV. The building has lift access which makes life a lot easier.

A little bit about us, we're in our mid-thirties and based between London and York. My husband works in finance and I work in marketing, with office days Tuesday-Thursday. We're both pretty chilled - usually ready to collapse on the sofa after a long day at the office, and enjoy watching telly, cooking, video games and doom scrolling.

We're looking for a similarly aged professional or couple and will be doing viewings w/c 5/01/2026 however we can be flexible if you want to view before then. Looking forward to hearing from you!
