Hey there!
My current housemate and long term friend is moving away from mid Feb so I’m looking for a replacement!
About the flat:
The flat is in Surrey Quays, about an 8 min walk from the windrush overground and about a 16 min walk to Canada Water for the jubilee line.
There are 2 bedrooms, one is mine and I have an en-suite so the main bathroom is yours alone! We have a shared kitchen / lounge space, a balcony, in the hallway there is a shoe cupboard, a washing machine and a longer storage cupboard for suitcases, coats etc.
The flat has a shared enclosed garden area, a gym, a 24 hour concierge and bike storage.
In terms of the kitchen / lounge there is a dishwasher, fridge/ freezer, oven, microwave, several kitchen appliances, 4 person dining table. Lounge is pretty standard with an L shape sofa, chair and tv.
The desk is going with my housemate, I usually work at the table but if you need a WFH space another small sized desk can go there.
The room:
It’s a furnished room that comes with a double bed, mattress, draws under the bed, chest of draws and a mirror on the draws.
There is ample room for a wardrobe or rail where the current rail is as well as a bedside table / shelf next to the bed.
There’s also 2 huge windows so there is lots of natural light.
In terms of me:
I work in the city 3 days a week at a big tech company, I usually stay pretty busy with fitness stuff and seeing friends. When I’m not doing anything, the flat is a lovely space that I like to keep clean and feeling chill, with the odd wine night / birthday celebration here and there!
I’ve been living with my current housemate for the past 5 years! So I’m keen to find someone I gel with and have a similar lifestyle to / standards of the flat.
