Large double room in Surrey Quays by Greenland Dock (with sea views 😏)

In 4 bed 2 bathroom queer friendly house with 3 other working professional young people.

Rent and bills are slightly more for this room as it is the largest room in the property. Bills + tax (Band E) split evenly between the four of us and tend to be around £100-£150 per month depending on the time of year.

For shopping, we're located right next to Big Tesco and have a Lidl about 10mins away, plus smaller shops on the highstreet and around Canada Water nearby.

For transport, we're right by Surrey Quays on the Windrush Overground line, and about a 10min walk from Canada Water also on the Windrush and Jubilee Lines. Both stations are part of the night tube.

The house is fully furnished and has a cozy den which can fit us all (kitted out with a tv and games), decent kitchen/downstairs space and comes with a garden (and swingball set) and a tumble dryer on top of usual white goods. The room has a chest of drawers, double bed and mattress and a wardrobe.

Southwark offer free swim and gym in the local new leisure centre on Fridays and parts of the weekend for being a Southwark resident.

You'll be living with:

Hannah (35). I work in heritage (with Yianni!). Most of my free time is spent at the gym, doing aerial classes, dancing, or exploring London. I love art, museums and theatre. I'm equally happy winding down with a cup of tea, a good chat, and a film or documentary. P. s. I make really good pies.

Emma (27). I'm a mental health nurse so I work shifts. I like baking and playing football (badly) and watching tv with Hannah (comfort show: The Simpsons). I love hanging around the area - sitting by the docks with a coffee watching the ducks, or visiting the nearby Surrey Docks Farm.

Yianni (27). I'm a bit of an architecture/urbanism nerd but just as equally fun and sociable. I enjoy going to the cinema, frequenting some very good pubs (many nearby). I play touch rugby every Wednesday night which I love. I also like cooking for people so we can enjoy dinner together while watching a good film/documentary/series.

We hope to find a housemate who also likes a chat, socialising in and outside of the house and who is respectful and tidy.
