The Room & Setup: Double room available in a 4-bedroom house in Surrey Quays. We are offering a very private top-floor setup: both the available bedroom and a secondary spare room are located on the top floor (along with the washing machine and dryer – both replaced within the last year). We won't be renting the other spare bedrooms out.

Bedroom: Fully furnished with a double bed, built-in wardrobe space, dresser (not in photos), shelves, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower.

Spare Room: Equipped with a desk, double bed and 50-inch TV. When not being used for occasional guests, you are welcome to use it as a work-from-home office space.

The House:

Air conditioning installed in all bedrooms and the living room.

Newly renovated garden with a new patio area - perfect for summer!

On-street parking available (usually right outside the back gate).

Location:

Short walk to both Surrey Quays (Overground) and Canada Water (Jubilee Line) stations.

5-minute walk to Tesco Superstore.

10-minute walk to the new Canada Water Leisure Centre.

Backs onto Greenland Dock – location of Water Sports Centre.

Southwark Park 8-minute walk (athletics track, tag rugby league etc).

About Us: My partner and I are live-in landlords living here with our very peaceful cat, Luna. I am a teacher, so I am out during the day on weekdays, and my partner works from home twice a week.

Because we own the property, we’ve put a lot of love into it and are keen to keep everything in great shape - meaning any maintenance issues get fixed quickly!

Who We’re Looking For: We are looking for an easygoing housemate who will respect and care for the space. Bonus points if you'd occasionally be happy to cat-sit Luna when we travel!
