We have a room available to rent in our beautiful modern flat 4 minutes around the corner from Surrey Quays station. Please see below for detailsâ¦.
Flat: Modern, wooden flooring, large spacious living room, huge balcony (perfect for Summer time!), kitchen equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, fridge, freezer, kettle etc (lots of storage); bathroom with shower and bath (sharing with one other person as 3rd bedroom is ensuite). Amazing views of the city.
Room: Small but light, size reflects the very reasonable price
Area: Very safe. 4 minutes walk from Surrey Quays station. 10 minutes walk from Canada Water station. Massive Tesco Extra (which has everything you could possible need, EVER!) 4 minutes walk away. Tesco Express just around the corner, bus stop just outside flat â bus takes you past SQ station or Canada Water if running late for work (just quickly check what time next bus arrives on one of those bus apps you can upload). Lidl and McDonalds also within short walking distance, as well as hair and nail salons, Barclays bank and post office. Surrey Quays shopping centre also has lots of shops to choose fromâ¦Poundland, River Island, Dorothy Perkins, Superdrug, Boots, Gameâ¦.
Current flatmates: Lyna, an Occupational Therapist and Rachel (moving in at the end of the month) both looking for a third easygoing housemate.
Ok now the catch (!!) The flat is technically up for sale. It has been on the market since October last year and has so far, received little interest. When and if it does sell, the likelihood is that it will be sold as a tenanted property, in which case the rent is likely to increase. It is unlikely that it will be sold as a buy to live, but if it is, we are given 2 months notice to find new lodgings. I must stress that this is not the reason the current flatmate is leaving, it is because he has chosen to move back in with family for a few months to save on rent.
