I am a British property professional and landlord. I used to live in the house with my ex-partner, but since our breakup, I have rented the rooms to multiple lodgers. Now, with a fast-growing family and living in Yorkshire, I rarely visit the property due to the 400+ mile round trip. However, when I do visit for maintenance, I stay in a locked separate room that is available to lodgers when I’m not there. Both lodgers have their own rooms with locks, which are rarely used, creating an honest and friendly environment.
I am seeking responsible individuals to care for the house as if it were their own while I am away. If this sounds like you, please get in touch.
The house is a new build from 2003 and is very warm. It features a good-sized enclosed rear garden and on-street parking. The ground floor includes a communal kitchen, WC, and living room leading to a conservatory and garden. The first floor has two bedrooms and a communal bathroom with a large bath and powerful shower, currently being modernized. Planned home improvements will enhance convenience for all.
• Rent: £950 per month
• Security deposit: 1 month or 6 weeks (at landlord’s discretion)
• Most bills included (excluding electric/gas, which are pay-as-you-go)
The room is available for viewing and move-in from March 1st as the current lodger is leaving.
