A spacious double room in my two-bedroom house with a private garden is available to rent. The room is 129 sq ft. The property is double glazed with a large, shared living room, two double bedrooms, kitchen with a double range cooker. The kitchen has a small table with two chairs, and the living room has a dining table. There is a shower, bathroom and toilet, and a separate second toilet downstairs.

You'll be sharing with me, a live-in landlady, and our friendly cat, Willow. Please only respond if you are LGBTQ friendly and an animal lover. I am looking to share with a professional person, who is considerate and clean. There is a dishwasher, washing machine fridge freezer. Natural oak flooring throughout the lounge kitchen and downstairs toilet. 10-min walk from Sydenham Station, 15-min walk to Lower Sydenham Station with easy access to the city centre. The house is near the high street and Sainsbury's superstore, a short distance from Forest Hill swimming pools and a 4-min walk to Mayow Park.

The rooms here are spacious, which allows for privacy and communal sharing, and would suit someone looking for a quiet and peaceful space. I like the occasional chat, watching films, cooking, and equally value privacy, and our own space.

I am a practicing artist, and my work centres around exploring the impact of colonialism on justice and well-being, so looking to share the space with a like-minded person. There may be times when I am away from home, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the house to yourself occasionally

The tenancy is a six-month contract with a view to stay longer, once we've established a good relationship.
