Double room available in a peaceful Sydenham home

You’ll have your own bathroom for everyday use – I have my own ensuite, so it’ll just be you using it. Very occasionally a guest might use it, or me if needed, but day to day it’ll be your own private bathroom. :)

About the flat:

- Fast and easy into central London: 20 minutes to London Bridge, with direct trains also to Waterloo, Charing Cross, Canada Water and Whitechapel.

- A 15-minute walk to both Sydenham and Lower Sydenham stations.

- All bills and broadband included.

- Open to short-term lets.

About me:
I’m into yoga, the gym, galleries, theatre and singing (I’m in a choir, so I’m often out for rehearsals). At home I like a mix of quiet time and a friendly chat in the kitchen.

And the furry housemates:
There are two cats – one very sociable, who will adopt you instantly, and one shy one you’ll probably only glimpse now and then.

The neighbourhood:
We’re just two minutes from the award-winning Mayow Park – perfect for a run, tennis, or a coffee at the excellent park café. In summer it even hosts outdoor theatre, cinema, and a pick-your-own herbs garden.

Nearby you’ll find plenty of lovely cafes and restaurants, including Blackbird Bakery, plus a gym and Dragonfly yoga studio with its own cosy café (great if you occasionally work from home). We’re also close to Crystal Palace, Beckenham and Bromley for shopping and places to eat. And best of all, the fast direct trains make it simple to enjoy central London – from the South Bank to Charing Cross theatres.

I’m looking for someone who’ll enjoy living in a relaxed, friendly home – happy to share a chat or a cuppa but also independent. Loving cats is definitely a bonus. :) If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to hear from you.
