Double room(s) in leafy Sydenham

Hey, we are Giselle and Joe. We have two double rooms available for an initial 6 month rental period in our flat in the Lawrie Park area of Sydenham, 8 mins walk from Sydenham station and 6 mins walk to Crystal Palace park.

The flat is spacious and light, on the top floor of a small block, and has a large shared bathroom, kitchen with dining area, living room, and 3 bedrooms. We are a couple and both work full time, a mixture of working from home and at the office, but will be spending quite a lot of time traveling in the next year, so the flat would be shared between two people the majority of the time. There may be additional office space available for home workers – we can discuss this in more detail during viewings.

We love living in this area as it has a really peaceful atmosphere with plenty of nature, whilst also having plenty of amenities/restaurants/pubs in Sydenham itself, Crystal Palace really close by, and plenty of connections to central London.

We are peaceful, relaxed and friendly, and while at home enjoy watching films, cooking and generally chilling out. Our interests include traveling, world cinema, music, nature. We would love to find similar to people to share the flat with. Mutual respect is important, both for each other and for quiet hours and the flat in general. We normally speak Spanish at home but are both fluent/native in English.

We can be very flexible on dates to suit the person(s) that moves in – standard references would need to be provided, with a deposit of one month’s rent. Bills are included within the rent and are expected to remain fixed throughout the year, as long as energy prices and usage stay the same.
