Looking for a calm, grown-up, well-kept place with a dash of character?

I moved back into the place in May after renting it out for a few years, and have spent time making it a place to enjoy spending time in.

The patio is a secure, green oasis featuring a picnic table and BBQ for occasional, mild conviviality. I'm also seeing what I can keep alive in pots. I'm also trying to cultivate an aquarium using the Walstad Method.

Me: I'm a nerdy but friendly and curious self-employed tech professional. WFH much of the time right now and will get into my zone in my work corner when I need to. I enjoy conversation during breaks and at the end of the day over a tea or even a shared meal although, I can totally recognise and respect when personal space is needed.

I strive for good communication - honest and open - showing kindness and openess to difference and diversity. I'm aiming for a considerate house where people are comfortable to be themselves. I'm basically the woke uncle in my family.

- There's plenty of storage, including space for a bike.
- Speedy broadband.
- Bell Green retail park with Aldi and massive Sainsbury’s just 5 mins walk away.
- Also, 5 mins walk to two parks (Mayow Park and Home Park) and a lovely little community library.
- Local transport links to London: Sydenham, Lower Sydenham, Penge East are all within walking distance. There are also Lime and Forest bikes all around if you are in a rush.
