Large Double room to rent in Sydenham/ Forest Hill

We are looking for a new housemate to join us in our home in South East London. Walking distance to Forest Hill and Sydenham overground stations. With great bus links and shops close by, including a Tesco.

The room is of a really good size with big windows and so plenty of natural light during the day. The room comes unfurnished and has its own toilet.

We have a shared open plan kitchen/living room (featuring a brand new oven!) to hang out in as well as a patio and a big garden to sit out on during the summer. Plenty of scope for gardening if you like your plants!

We also have a small spare room which is used as storage, and an overhead loft for more storage. We have one bathroom with a new shower, as well as two separate toilets.

This house is very much a home for us. We are looking for someone who wants someplace they can make their own.

We’re friendly and would love someone we can socialise with, but equally we’re very respectful of personal space and more than happy to spend evenings on our own - as introverts we understand if you don’t always want to chat.

We like to keep the house tidy and keep it peaceful - whilst we love a glass of wine in the evening or a dinner party, this isn’t the place to throw ragers.

We’re LGBT+ friendly and open to a female housemate of basically any age, preferably a professional who works no more than 2 days at home.

No couples or pets I’m afraid (landlord doesn’t allow them 😢).

Rent includes bills but the base rent for the room is c.£680. Bills includes council tax, TV licence and internet.
