Description

Hi guys,

I'm Andrea and I live one minute from the best Italian restaurant in London according to Trip Advisor (they have the best lasagne ever)! I’m also a five-minute walk from the tube and train station.

I am offering a good-sized double bedroom for a lodger which has its own en suite shower room, bedroom balcony and under floor heating. The room is furnished and includes a double bed and mattress with storage underneath the bed, two bedside tables with drawers, a chest of drawers, single wardrobe and clothing rail. There is also a cupboard in the hallway with generous storage which you can make use of if necessary.

This is a quiet luxury apartment, decorated about three years ago with fittings which still look very new. I love the balance between the contemporary bathrooms and kitchen, under floor heating throughout, homely carpets and real wood furniture.

The space is unique because you will have your own shower room to use (if you fancy a bath you can always use the main bathroom too).

There are two balconies in the open-plan lounge which has a dining table for six, comfortable sofas and a kitchen area with polished concrete tiles, dishwasher, washing machine with dryer, microwave, fan oven, juicer and the usual appliances.

You will be five minutes away from the local tube and train station, which allows you to travel to central London in 15 minutes. There is lots of natural light throughout the flat.

I keep a clean yet relaxed home with large Smart TV, DVD player and a Wii Fit player so there will be plenty of home comforts.

Sometimes I work from home and socially I'm out about three evenings a week on average, usually at the cinema, eating out or taking an evening class.

I listen to music probably more than I watch TV however it's normally played from an iPad so no bass line to thump (like the good old 90s hahaha)!

I cook most nights and can sometimes be found on the sofa in front of Netflix, sometimes with my boyfriend who comes to visit.

It would be a bonus to have a friendly flatmate and it can be nice when the flat is full of life, however if you're an introvert I can also adapt to that, being an only child!

It would equally be nice to share with someone who is sharing the home rather than being a passing ship in the night and will join me with their dinner or a chat if I'm in the front room and vice versa; however not essential.

Bills and Council Tax are included.

The Neighbourhood

The neighbourhood is in south east London. There are many food shops, two supermarkets, takeaways, restaurants, cafes, off licences and a popular book shop which often hosts live entertainment on the high road. There are many night buses and bus stops less than one minute's walk away too. The neighbourhood is lively, however our building is well-insulated so you don't often hear neighbours in the elevator or around the stairwells. There are also many parks close by.

Getting Around

I am a five minute walk away from the tube and train stations. There are bus stops and night buses one less than a one minute walk away. There is parking in a secure off-road car park for residents as well as on-street parking right outside the building.
