Beautiful, spacious, private loft room, bathed in light with views over the City and adjacent bathroom for your exclusive use. The room is large enough to comfortably accommodate a king-sized bed, wardrobe, desk, chest of drawers, sofa, coffee table and kitchenette style area. It is available fully furnished.
The house is an attractive Victorian terrace occupied by me and occasionally my 3 grown-up children who are home at times during University holidays. We also have a quiet, gentle greyhound and a cat.
Transport: Nunhead train station under 5 min walk with direct connections to Victoria and Blackfriars (20 minute journey). Queens Road Peckham and Brockley stations with direct links to London Bridge are also within 10-15 minute walk. Alternatively, hire an electric hire bike gets you to central London in just 30 minutes or make use of the large network of local bus links.
The locality: Nunhead/Telegraph Hill is a friendly, urban style village with a genuine community feel and local high street with an independent baker, greengrocer, butcher, fishmonger, cafes, pubs and restaurants. There’s plenty of green space to enjoy; Telegraph Hill parks and the beautiful Nunhead Cemetery are literally just moments away, Peckham Rye an easy 20 minute walk. We are between Peckham (edgier and trendier) and East Dulwich (bougier!), both walking distance or an easy bus journey. Bills included (subject to reasonable use) and rent is based on single, long-term occupancy. Short-term and couples rates also available.
