Large double room in 5 bed house share in Tooting

Hi everyone !

We have a room coming available from mid/end of October in our 5-bedroom house in Tooting. The house itself is semi-detached, has two bathrooms, a big lounge/kitchen area and a decent garden space. The room comes furnished with wardrobe, bed, desk and chair and is nice and big. We also have a tiny spare room in the house, which is handy for having guests come to stay for a couple of days.

Under a 5 minute walk from Tooting rail station (Thameslink going through Kings Cross and the City to Wimbledon) and a 15-minute walk to Tooting Broadway underground (Northern line, 20 mins to Waterloo), it’s in a great spot – our street is super residential and quiet but we’re close enough to all that’s going on in Tooting to make it convenient!

The four of us staying on are late 20s/early 30s. All of us have 9-5 jobs and looking for someone with a similar pace of life: we all met through spareroom and have our own friends but also like spending time together, from making dinner and watching TV to sometimes going on weekends away together! One thing to note is our additional housemate Luna - one of the housemate’s rescue dog from Central America. She’s super friendly and you’ll mostly find her hanging out on the sofas but anyone with allergies or not a fan of dogs this probs isn’t the place for you.

The house is a 5-minute walk away from Lidl, and there’s a big Sainsburys next to Tooting Broadway, with local Sainsburys and Tesco a few minutes down the road too. And there are plenty of nice pubs and restaurants around the area! Tooting Common is a 25 minute walk away, but Figges Marsh is about 10 mins down the road if you want a small green space to hang out in (although we generally stick to our garden, which we love having barbecues in!).

Rent is £819 per month, deposit £819. We split bills, each looking after something and then just paying each other on a monthly basis but roughly they come to somewhere between £60-90 a month (higher end of the scale in winter when the central heating is on!).
