An Englishman, a Scotswoman and an Irishwoman are looking for a flatmate…

While that might sound like the start of a bad joke, we promise you, there are plenty more where that came from.

We have a garden view room in the upper floor of our flat available for rent from the 1st of September. Date for move in may be flexible for the right person. Our flatmate moving out had a little sausage dog and we have lived with him for the past 2 years. If you too have a dog, preferably small, we would absolutely love to consider you as we will greatly miss living with one. No cats will be considered.

Our flat has always felt like a little family, and we are looking for someone who wants that vibe for their new home too. We all have busy lives, but we like to host movie nights inclusive of friends and partners on Sunday’s, and like to catch up during the week when we can. Monthly, we aim to have a dinner, game night (board games), or attempt to win a pub quiz (it’s not going well), and we often try new activities as a group. We’re not a massive party household, but we do list to host now and again (especially at Halloween).

Our ideal flatmate will be clean and tidy (we have a weekly cleaning rota that we all stick to), respectful of the home and those who live in it, and keen to make some new friends.

🍃 We have a spacious shared living room, a shared bathroom with a shower and bath, a kitchen, balcony and garden (though right now brambles have made it inaccessible). We share a main building entrance door with our neighbours, a family, and our flat door stands across from theirs - up a flight of stairs. There is no wheelchair access.

📍 Tooting Broadway station is a short walk away, and there is bus stop access just down the road. Haydon’s Road station is also a 20 min walk. In front of our house is a bus route to Wimbledon which is a 35-40 min walk away. We are 6 mins walk away from Lidl, Hobbycraft, Pets at Home and Starbucks. Earlsfield is less than a 20 min walk away.

St George’s hospital is right around the corner, and Tooting boasts many restaurants, cafes, pubs, brunch spots and more. You can walk to multiple gyms, a swimming pool (local leisure centre), two libraries, and many parks including King George’s Park, Garratt Park, Wimbledon Common, Wandsworth Common and Tooting Commons.
