Double room in friendly Tooting house share!

Hello! We are looking for a 4th person to join our home as one of our housemates is moving back to Finland. Move in date is from 17th November 2024, for a 1 year lease.

Rent: £700 per month
Deposit: £865.38
Bills: £100-120 per month, depending on the season (bills include heating, electricity, water, wifi, Sky TV, council tax, and a fortnightly cleaner for the communal areas).

The room: a cosy double located at the back of the house on the 1st floor. Comes with a double bed and mattress, large wardrobe and chest of drawers. Gets lots of sunlight during the day! There is no space for a desk in the room so would only be suitable for someone who works from home a few days a week max, and would be happy to work in the communal areas if so.

The house: located between Tooting Market and Tooting Common, a 10 minute walk from Tooting Broadway station (Northern Line). Lots of lovely local pubs and cafes. The house has a large open living room/diner, with a separate kitchen, leading to a patio garden. There are 2 full bathrooms which we split between us. Fully furnished, including the kitchen.

The housemates!: Cameron is 29 and works 5 days a week in a theatre office. Sarah is 32 and works in publishing, with a mix of WFH and in the office. Beth is 32 and works for a books charity, also a mix of WFH and in the office.
We all met through SpareRoom over the years and respect each other’s space but also socialise regularly - Netflix evenings, theatre trips, bbqs, etc (and our monthly book club which we'd love you to join!).
