Short term sub let - double room in Tooting.

Hey, I’m going travelling for a couple of months and looking for someone to sublet my room while I’m away from 20 April until about the 16th June (don’t have to take the whole time period)
It’s a double room on the top floor of a 5-bedroom house in Tooting. And I’ll be leaving some stuff in but you’ll have space in the wardrobe and chest of drawers as well as the bedside unit (and help yourself to any books on my bookcase!)

The house itself is semi-detached, has two bathrooms (this room only shares bathroom with one other person), a big lounge/kitchen area and a decent garden space. We also have a tiny spare room in the house, which is handy for having guests come to stay for a couple of days.

Under a 5 minute walk from Tooting rail station (Thameslink going through Kings Cross and the City to Wimbledon) and a 15-minute walk to Tooting Broadway underground (Northern line, 20 mins to Waterloo), it’s in a great spot – our street is super residential and quiet but we’re close enough to all that’s going on in Tooting to make it convenient!

The four other housemates are aged 28-34. All of us have 9-5 jobs and all met through spareroom and have our own friends but also like spending time together, from making dinner and watching TV to sometimes going on weekends away together, so hopefully that’s the vibe you’re after!

The house is a 5-minute walk away from Lidl, and there’s a big Sainsburys next to Tooting Broadway, with local Sainsburys and Tesco a few minutes down the road too. And there are plenty of nice pubs and restaurants around the area! Tooting Common is a 25 minute walk away, but Figges Marsh is about 10 mins down the road if you want a small green space to hang out in (although we generally stick to our garden, which we love having barbecues in!).

Rent is £780 per month, happy to hear offers and if you don’t want the full two months we can talk about a weekly split, but I will need payment upfront. We split bills, but I’ll cover these for the period.
