Considerate cat & coffee lover for lovely home

Lovely room in a beautiful, modern home with a wonderful south facing garden on a quiet street available to an easygoing, generally tidy, considerate, non-smoking CAT LOVER. I have 3 very cute kitties, 2 of them are lap cats. The room is a good size double with plenty of storage and a desk. There is also a guest bedroom which is brilliant for when your friends want to crash over, a separate laundry area, and a large attic for additional storage. The house has all mod cons: a dishwasher, bean-to-cup coffee maker, Alexa, Netflix, and large screen TV. The cost includes Broadband, Netflix and Amazon Prime plus a great cleaner that comes every 2 weeks.

Tooting Market with its cute little bars and restaurants is a 20 minute walk away. The wonderful Wandle River trail starts just around the corner which takes you through some stunning green spaces like Morden Hall Park. I regularly do a 6k run from home around Merton Abbey Mills with its cute bars on the river, and through the wetlands of Morden Hall Park.

A bit about me: I am a project manager working for a bank and work from home 3 days a week. I love food and cooking and sometimes treat my housemate to dinner, homemade ice-cream, and a bottle of wine. I am very sociable so I am either out a lot on the weekends or having friends over for meals/cocktails; so if you are not a social person than this would not be the right home for you. I love the outdoors so I have kayaks, a bicycle and I love going for a long hike in the countryside. I also travel a fair amount so you will often get to enjoy having the house to yourself. I am not a morning person so would gel better with someone who is more of an owl.

I would like a housemate that both respects and takes care of the home but also enjoys it as if it was their own. I don't want just a lodger but someone who participates in making the house a home and is quite sociable. I am used to sharing stuff so there is no "your cupboard, my cupboard" situation in the kitchen when it comes to the basics like rice, oils, spices etc.

My home is a 10/12 minute walk from Colliers Wood tube station on the fabulous 24 hour Northern Line, or 7 mins to Tooting mainline and plenty of buses going to Streatham, Wimbledon etc. For vehicle owners, a cheap on-street car parking permit is available. For cyclists, there are 2 outdoor bicycle racks and a shed to store your bicycle. For motorbikers, there is a secure ground anchor.

Sorry, no couples and professional office workers preferred. Please don't reply if you are an untidy person, live like a student, are a couch potato, a fussy person, addicted to garbage TV (soap operas, Celebrity programs, Love Island etc) or televised sports and regularly get up before 7.
